(RED)Wire is (RED)'s latest initiative: a digital music magazine that allows you to discover new music while providing medicine to those in Africa who need it. For $5 a month, every Wednesday you will get two DRM-free songs (one will be "exclusive" from a major artist), an extra (video, slideshow, or something similar) that is "inspiring," and updates about those receiving the medicine you're paying for. Subscribers will receive their new music via the (RED)WIRE player, which also puts each song into the iTunes media player. $2.50 goes directly to The Global Fund, an organization that buys and administers medicine to women and children affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa.
